About the role:
Based at our Silverwater site, we are seeking an Operator to join our team.
Your day to day tasks will include operating plant and equipment within our facility to treat medical waste, whilst also maintaining a high level of safety and housekeeping standards.
With varied daily tasks, you will sort and load/unload medical waste collected from our broad customer base. This may include tasks such as transferring waste from collection containers both large and small.About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Availability for shifts commencing at 2pm in Silverwater
- The ability to work as part of a team, but also independently with our diverse team
- Be adept in handling waste from medical facilities
- Great communication skills with good attention to detail
- Some RF gun and excel experience will be ideal, but not mandatory
- Willingness to take a Preemployment medical, including drug and alcohol test
- Willingness to undertake a National Police Criminal History Check (if required)
Due to the nature of this work, evidence of currency of vaccination or the willingness to receive defined vaccinations is essential.
