- Conducting thorough research and analysis of market trends, asset classes, and investment opportunities to identify optimal investment strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of ANZSS's investments, recommending/making timely adjustments to optimize returns and manage risks effectively.
- Cultivating relationships with external investment managers, consultants, and other stakeholders to access diverse investment opportunities and staying abreast of industry best practices.
- Provide incisive reports and advice to the CEO, Investment Committee, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders on ANZSS's investment performance, outlook, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and fiduciary responsibilities, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency in all activities.
- Leading the investment team, and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in investment management, preferably within the Australian superannuation industry.
- Proven track record of successful investment strategy development and portfolio management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound understanding of financial markets, asset allocation principles, and risk management approach.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and make informed decisions under pressure.
