About the RoleTeam Global Express (TGE) are seeking the support of a highly motivated Sales Manager for the Inside Sales team.
As a newly created role you will have the opportunity to make this role your own and recruit your dream team.
As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing, mentoring and motivating a team of initially six Account Managers who will also be responsible for new business development.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities- Actively participate in the Implementation and achievement of annual internal sales budget across the team.
- Assist with setting of annual Telesales Sales Executive budgets by individual to include customer retention, organic growth, and new business targets.
- Implement monthly/quarterly Sales and marketing plans to direct sales activity and ensure sales budgets are achieved.
- Portfolio Management
- Account for variances on a monthly basis in actual performance versus budget, recommending and initiating corrective action. Team Specific
- Implement and monitor a customer relationship framework.
- Implement customer profitability model where applicable.
- Assist to improve yield per customer at general uprate time.
- Introduce and monitor standardised sales processes, disciplines, and benchmarks.
- Establish a pipeline in Siebel
- Unite for sales growth with existing and new business accounts.
- Stay abreast of competitor activity.
- Weekly coaching with individual team members.
- Undertake formal performance assessment of all sales personnel twice annually.
- Motivate, and continue to develop high quality sales personnel.
- Maintain contact with key customers.
You are someone who has the passion and flair for sales and a desire to help develop people.
Ideally you will have come from a management background, however potentially you have just been waiting for the right opportunity to show what you have and step up.
