The Opportunity


As an Analytics Product Owner - Health & Pharma, you are accountable for bringing your health/pharma experience, deep data & analytics skills, technical knowledge and product development skills to own and drive Prospection's platform modules.

Your analytical skills are expected to help design, validate, deliver and optimise various analyses aimed at providing key insights to our pharma customers.


Being a systems thinker, you will bridge product design and engineering through detailed functional requirements, deep data knowledge, algorithm design and cross-platform impact & risk considerations.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary squad with product managers, engineers and user experience designers and be the glue that will bring solutions to reality, executing and delivering features and value to our global customers through prospection's SaaS platform.

You will also play a key part in the end-to-end product lifecycle, including GTM planning, launch, customer onboarding, support and enablement.


The Analytics Product owner must ensure that the user stories meet customer requirements by collaborating and working closely with various stakeholders such as business leaders, data scientists, consultants, clinical/pharma experts and customers from different regions.


You will also have to break complex initiatives down into meaningful milestones and deliver ongoing value to our customers following best practice agile principals.

This role also requires familiarity with agile ceremonies and will be responsible for conducting daily stand ups, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives and showcases.

Accountabilities

  • Should have clear perspective on customer goals, objectives, use cases and own the detailed product requirements. Being able to clearly articulate the problem we are trying to solve and specifics to the development team and UX team is a must.
  • Should be able to connect Healthcare/Pharma industry experience to product development so that the features provide maximum value to our customers.
  • Use the deep data and analytics expertise to interrogate the data, explore, analyse and identify limitations, opportunities and potential edge cases so robust features can be built using the data assets we own.
  • Create appropriate prototypes, feasibility assessments, and analytics frameworks to validate ideas partnering with relevant experts to make sound product investment decisions with product managers.
  • Work with the analytics experts, pharma industry experts, user experience designers and engineers to assess and develop use cases and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure we deliver the maximum value aligned with our product strategy.
  • Own the execution and rapid iteration to deliver products/features on time.
  • The Analytics Product Owner must ensure that the product backlog is communicated clearly to all team members.
  • Provide technical training and ongoing support to relevant stakeholders in using the service offering/product.
  • Evaluate the work done by the development team and provide constant feedback to minimise the rework.
Essential Criteria

  • Experience working in an agile environment, conducting agile rituals, working closely with a development team to deliver SaaS software.
  • Acquire a robust understanding of Prospection's global data and pharma markets, and become adept at doing exploratory data analysis on them. Ability to understand, explore and infer from data.
