Coffee Bar and Corner Store Manager

As the Coffee Bar and Corner Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a small team to create a welcoming and vibrant environment.

Who We Are:

GOODS is a newly established coffee bar and corner store situated alongside the Scout Marrickville Pilates and Yoga studio.

Our venue offers a luxurious coffee bar and retail options featuring high-quality produce, flowers, grocery essentials, baked goods, and lifestyle products.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality manager to contribute to the development of an innovative and thriving business.


Who You Are:


  • 35 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Preferably, experience in food and beverage management within a franchise system or similar business ownership.
  • Proven ability to manage costs effectively.
  • Motivational leadership skills to guide the team toward achieving business targets.
  • Kind, friendly, and effective communicator with a passion for customer satisfaction.
  • Dedicated to maintaining high standards of presentation.

Working Hours:


  • Flexible hours within our opening hours 6.30am 3pm daily, (40 hours per week).
  • Flexible weekdays/weekends.

Responsibilities:


  • Staff management, including rostering, absenteeism, and shift covers.
  • Recruitment and onboarding of staff.
  • Development and implementation of staff training and safety procedures.
  • Cultivation of a caring and kind workplace culture aligned with our values.
  • Performance management of staff.
  • Stock ordering and communication with suppliers.
  • Management of COGs budget.
  • Quality and freshness control, stock rotations, and stocktake.
  • Venue presentation and cleanliness.
  • Management of production flow and customer demand schedule.
  • Achievement of sales budgets.
  • Management of productivity/wages hours budget.
  • Development of menus and exploration of new opportunities.
  • Building customer and supplier relationships.

This is a hands-on position that requires a strong achievement drive to contribute to the success of an exciting and popular destination.

Salary:
$65, $70,000.00 per year
