Due to continued growth and expansion, they are currently looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator from an Industrial or service based environment, to join their team in Dandenong South.


About the job


Reporting to the Victorian Operations & Maintenance Manager, you will support Operations and Maintenance teams to perform their roles to the highest quality, effectively and efficiently.


This is a key role that requires someone with excellent coordination, administration, communication, computer, and systems skills along with the ability to prioritise and ensure deadlines are met.


This is a Permanent role working Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm in their newly refurbished office attached to the Dandenong South Warehouse & Stores with onsite parking available.


Duties & Responsibilities include:


  • Reception, travel arrangements, Induction & onboarding of all personnel to site
  • Administration duties relating to HSE activities
  • Ensuring all Fleet vehicles are maintained and serviced along with managing the administration of fuel cards & Etags
  • Developing, producing, and collating reports on behalf of the business. E.g., Timesheet reporting, monthly O&M reports
  • Purchasing and Accounts support including raising purchase requisitions and all other associated administration
  • Maintain site directory and Registers
  • Document management
  • Inventory control including stock takes and reporting
  • Maintaining & supervising the facility to ensure it's clean, safe, and tidy
  • Providing Site and administration support where all IT matters are concerned.
  • Ad hoc administration supports as required

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Previous experience working in an Office Support/Site Support type senior administration or Coordinator type role.
  • Excellent computer skills with good typing skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (both Verbal & Written)
  • Positive disposition with good customer service skills ensuring internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • Experience carrying out support functions for teams including Trades.
  • Good problemsolving skills with the ability to think on your feet and remain calm under pressure
First Aid qualification and Forklift license are highly desirable
