    Description

    Our client URGENTLY requires a Communications Officer for 36 months + Contract in Buderim.

    The Communications Officer will actively participate as a member of the Stakeholder Management Business Unit in the Stakeholder and Issues Management team with the core role being researching and drafting responses to ministerial and executive correspondence.

    Accountabilities include:

    • Assist the Stakeholder Management Business Unit to provide well-considered, accurate and timely communications advice and correspondence using appropriate communication tools.
    • Coordinate, research, draft and edit communications material including responses, briefing notes, media statements, newsletters, and other non-project related material for the senior management.
    • Undertake community engagement and stakeholder consultation activities during project development and delivery.
    • Coordinate and update the content of regional webpages to ensure relevance to projects and initiatives.

    Government experience would be advantageous.
