    Our Payroll Advisory and Operations team comprises experienced payroll professionals. We offer services to support workforce transformation, transition, and regulation, and enable organizations to realize the potential of their people. We help employers build trust by ensuring they are paying their people correctly, pursuant to applicable industrial instruments.

Our practice is organized to ensure the advice we provide is not just technically correct but strategically relevant and always capable of being successfully implemented. We deliver payroll solutions, blending technical skills and strategy to advise top ASX organizations, not-for-profit companies, and private clients with spectacular results. And our team is expanding. We're looking for a Senior Associate to support our provision of payroll advice to employers from large corporate, SMEs and not-for-profits. Use the know-how and experience you've gained in payroll advisory gained in either a Big 4 or professional service environment. With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You'll learn plenty as you build lasting relationships as a trusted advisor using your strong client mindset across a range of industry specializations in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.

    Responsibilities:


    1. Analyze relevant client data (quantitative and qualitative) to draw out actionable insights
    2. Provide assistance to clients with regulatory reviews, investigations, disclosures, payroll remediation payments and/or refund requests
    3. Contribute to the development of Payroll methodologies and approaches
    4. Support research on emerging workforce and Payroll trends and issues to frame business development activities or thought-leadership pieces
    5. Support client engagements, including progress reporting, regular client meetings and ensuring compliance with internal risk and quality requirements
    6. Support client deliverables, including developing recommendations, writing reports, and preparing presentations
    7. Build relationships with our clients, identifying needs and opportunities
    8. Assist the team with pitches and proposals for clients, reflecting an understanding of Payroll needs, Future of Work and workforce issues and trends
    9. Maintain a good standard of professional development, and awareness of Payroll legislation, regulation, and trends

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems
    • A minimum of 2 years experience in a Payroll consulting role
    • Display strong attention to detail
    • Data and analytical skills; qualitative and quantitative
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships
    • Ability to work on multiple engagements at the same time
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Most importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with
