Your new team

Orygen Specialist Programs (OSP), a program of the Royal Melbourne Hospital, provides specialist mental health services for young people aged 15 to 25 and focuses on providing early intervention to young people with severe and complex mental illness.

The Early Psychosis team provides specialist early interventions to young people and their families/carers experiencing early psychosis (including young people at 'ultra-high risk' of psychosis).


Your new role:

  • This is a multidisciplinary role and is open to Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists.

_ In this role, you will:

  • Deliver evidencebased care, both as an individual and building the capacity of a team
  • Develop and support the delivery of innovative, recoveryfocused, evidencebased interventions within the clinical program and within the family work space.
  • Work with a passionate leadership team in an expanding organisation with a focus on excellence in youth mental health service provision
  • Provide clinical leadership, management, training and supervision across a multidisciplinary team
  • Undertake relevant, timelimited project work that enables significant model and practice change

About you:

  • Passion for clinical service delivery in the area of family interventions.
  • Significant experience in clinical practice within the mental health field, preferably with young people experiencing complex mental health disorders
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, consumers and families
  • Demonstrated leadership and problemsolving skills and the capacity to adapt to the changing needs of an evolving service
