About the Role
YMCA WA is currently recruiting for a
Duty Manager based at the Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre. The Duty Manager has responsibility for customer service, staff supervision, evacuation and safety. In the absence of the Centre Manager they assume total responsibility of the centre.


Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre, managed by The Y WA, provides health and fitness, recreation, sporting and leisure opportunities for the entire community. We create an environment where people are engaged and feel safe, have a strong sense of belonging and ensure our centre is connected with the local community and supporting local initiatives.


Duties

  • Coordinate the daytoday operations of the centre
  • Provide leadership and support to lifeguards and program staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant OS&H practices and evacuation procedures
  • Recognise pool water quality, plant room and cleanliness issues and perform maintenance duties
  • Lifeguarding duties as required

Skills and Experience

  • Pool Operators and Lifeguard Certificate
  • HLTAID003 First Aid Certificate
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • National Police Certificate and Working with Children Check
  • Previous experience in Aquatics highly desirable
