What You'll Do

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail supervisor to work at the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria's flagship winter event Lightscape.

Based in our retail shop you will work Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm to 9:30pm from 7 June to 6 August 2023.

The Lightscape Retail Supervisor is responsible for driving sales and quality customer service and the management of retail staff and resolution of customer complaints.

In addition, the role will liaise with the retail buyer and retail operations manager, ensuring that visual presentation standards are maintained, as well as managing end-of shift procedures and the effective monitoring of risk levels of projects, records and work activities.

What You'll Bring
Success in this role will require

An outgoing and bubbly person who flourishes in a busy retail environment and loves interacting with people
Demonstrated experience as a handson supervisor with the ability to motivate a team to achieve success in a highvolume environment
A strong passion for providing excellent customer service in a busy environment, driving sales and achieving budgets
Ability to think on the go, using sound judgement to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately and calmly
Effective team leadership, planning, and organisational skills
