Our Wealth Advisory team has been growing at a rapid rate, which has created an opportunity for a Business/Operations Manager to assist with the business operations aspect of the divisionThis new and exciting role for the business and will ideally suit someone with a financial planning advice or compliance background who is looking for something a little different - you will be a big picture thinker, who wants to take ownership, assist with implementation and play a pivotal role in continuing to develop and grow our business
You will working closely with the Directors, at the forefront of managing our business, including implementing strategy, managing operations and workflow and ensuring compliance with our legal and professional obligations.

As part of William Buck, Accountants and Advisors, we partner with other specialist advisers in our firm including accounting, taxation and corporate advisory professionals, allowing us to provide wholistic advice and strategic value to our clients.

Operating under our own AFSL we provide sophisticated, tailored advice to successful business owners, high level executives and ultra-high net worth families dealing with their biggest concerns: creating and growing wealth, protecting wealth, mitigating taxes, taking care of their families, and charitable giving.
As a pivotal member of our team, you will assist with:
Day to day operations of the team
Implementation of the business strategy
Team management, including overseeing workflow, progress towards KPIs etc
Development of business and process efficiencies by reviewing and improving our current practices.
Management and integration of various software as an enabler for team efficiency.
Responsibility for ensuring compliance to our ethical, legal and professional obligations
Reviewing staff training and development plans, including overview of individual training registers
Maintaining an oversight of individual CPD requirements
We are looking for an individual who has:
Proven experience in a similar role, or experience in a compliance role within a financial planning practice who is looking to drive their career in a new direction
A passion for implementing new practices and efficiencies in a fast-paced environment
Loves inspiring team members to join you on the journey but prepared to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Xplan software is essential
