About the role


The Administrative Officer in Examination Support at Deakin's Waurn Ponds Campus works closely with the Senior Officer, Examination Resources on all aspects of on campus exam venue arrangements and set up.

This role is vital for the successful operations of end of unit assessments and exams.

As an Administrative Officer, Examination Support you will:

  • Support the Senior Officer, Examination Resources to administer the exam supervisor management process, including supervisor recruitment, preparing exam rosters, supervisor communication and training, and the processing of supervisor timesheets.
  • Assist with the process of room bookings and general exam venue setup tasks for campusbased examinations.
  • Support the end to end delivery of campusbased examinations including, where required, the setup of new exam venues based on university needs.
  • Clarify expectations and respond promptly to client requests, queries, or complaints to ensure client needs are met to agreed standards and timelines.

To be successful, you'll have:
  • Completion of a Degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience in a large organisation.

Special Requirements:


  • Infrequent work outside business hours is required (e.g., work at evening or weekend events is required)
  • Infrequent travel between exam venues will be required
  • Drivers Licence
  • Working with Children Check
