Overview


The role of a Client Relationship Manager (CRM) is to deliver against Link Market Services Limited's (Link) client objectives of understanding, anticipating and managing the needs and expectations of our employee share plans clients to ensure maximum revenue potential and develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.

CRMs are ultimately responsible for the premium delivery of services to Link's employee plans clients and their employees.

This includes managing client expectations, negotiating service level agreements, managing employee share plans vesting, offer and reporting requirements, account planning, cross-selling and strategic initiatives.


Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Project manage or oversee Employee Share Services work to ensure proposed outcomes are achieved


Includes:
- development and documentation of appropriate operational procedures
- identification of all risks and the implementation of appropriate controls ensuring that all work is undertaken in a timely, accurate and efficient manner and in accordance with the plan rules

  • Be the point of contact for EPS client matters within Link in relation to a specified portfolio of clients and be able to answer all queries regarding the client and their plans (with the information obtained from the client or elsewhere)
  • Develop and maintain centralised client databases
  • Actively promote EPS and other areas of Link's services to existing and potential clients
  • Review clients existing share plans and utilise influencing skills to maximise business Opportunities
  • Utilise strong relationship development and rapport building skills to ensure the retention of clients
  • Ensure all relevant share plan and other issues are addressed with clients as appropriate, acting in their best interests at all times
  • Manage internal stakeholders and coordinate delivery of services in a timely manner to Clients
  • Contribute to the strategic development of Link through innovative input into the
  • Develop strategy and management
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with client company secretaries and other client contacts
  • Manage and produce reports on a weekly and monthly basis (eg. statistics, end of month reports, billing and client fees)
  • Identify business opportunities with our clients for Link Market Services
  • Keep abreast of current industry related issues
  • Identify registry needs of the client and ensure that they are met
  • Ensure that invoices are prepared and dispatched for each client in the portfolio for each month (where appropriate). Monitor the payment of these invoices by reviewing the debtors list.
  • Identify the relevant business risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Extensive relationship experience gained in a services sector preferably financial is essential, as is a proven track record of building productive relationships and generating both cross selling and new sales opportunities.
  • Five years' minimum experience in the financial services industry, which includes close liaison with the operational side of a transaction business and a high level of understanding within the securities industry
  • University Graduate (Business / finance / accounting qualification preferred)
  • Highly developed employee share plan knowledge
  • Business development and relationship management skills
  • Project management skills
  • Acute business awareness of both Link and a portfolio of clients in order to meet client

  • Process management and analytical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain set target levels as directed
