About the Role

The purpose of this position is to provide outstanding customer service, by identifying and supporting customers to explore their current and future financial needs, provision relevant financial products and services and facilitate referrals to specialist teams where required.


The role works closely with the Branch Manager, by developing customer relationships through regular contact, proactive lead management, seeking opportunities for referrals, executing customer loan maintenance needs and coaching Customer Service Officers.


About you

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry required in understanding processes and provide best advice to customers
  • At least 2 years' experience in Banking in a customer service role, with a focus on identifying and matching personalised solutions to meet customers' needs
  • Ability to coach and develop others
  • Ability to build partnerships and external relationships to actively support the local community
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers built on trust
  • Ability to learn and confidently use several technology systems
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experience through taking an empathetic, personal approach to every customer interaction
  • Proactive learning orientation and resourcefulness in finding information
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment, building relationships with peers and other internal teams
  • Listens, consults others and communicates proactively
  • Accepts new ideas and change initiatives
  • Delivers quality outputs within agreed timeframes, demonstrating strong attention to detail
