The Opportunity


KBR's Land Team is seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist (with expertise in Risk Management) to work within a high-profile Land Domain project to enable the development and preparation of realistic project schedules using provided scheduling tools, and to support the development of project risk management plans.


The Project Scheduler will be required to:
Develop and/or assess Project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Contract WBS.

Develop Project Master Schedules.


Analyse project information and cost data to adequately monitor and report on project cost and schedule progress, and to provide practical Earned Value Performance Measurement (EVPM).

Mentor Project staff in relation to industry best practice schedule tools and project schedule reporting methodologies.

Provide ad hoc risk management advice as requested.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Accounting or related disciplines (preferred).

Experience in project scheduling and project controls including EVPM.

Advanced skills in project scheduling and reporting using software packages including Microsoft Project (MSP) and Open Plan Professional (OPP).

Experience planning and implementing project controls and scheduling procedures underpinned by industry best practice / standards.

Familiarity with DEFAUST Work Breakdown Stuctures for Defence Materiel Projects.

Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager with expertise in Risk Management (advantageous).

Experience in the use of accounting and spreadsheet packages (advantageous).

This role

requires a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance and

is based at Victoria Barracks in Melbourne.
