YOUR NEXT COMPANY
Our client is a national company that operate across infrastructure and construction space. They have numerous divisions across construction, engineering, industrial and environmental areas.

They work on a vast array of challenging projects and have their largest office based in South Australia which will allow for career opportunities.

Presently their Engineering and Construction Management team are seeking a Planner to join their unit.


YOUR NEXT ROLE
Reporting to the Infrastructure / Environmental Manager


You will be responsible for supporting project personnel with planning, scheduling, and setting up a planning system to manage and track activities, critical contractual and construction milestones, and labour and equipment resources on site.

This role will support all project related teams, including tendering, initiating and managing ongoing projects and preparing commercial notices and claims.


  • Safety shall form a key component of the role.


  • Client interaction

  • Support managing an effective relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders.


  • Schedules / Programmes

  • Create, maintain, review, and administer construction project schedules/programs
  • Support the tendering team with the creation of a tender project schedule
  • Support the commercial team with the provision of project schedule information used for the communication of the contract notices and claims

IS THIS A FIT FOR YOU?
You will be tertiary qualified in Project Management or Engineering.

You will have years of experience creating project schedules. You will have worked on Australian projects such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Defence, Industrial & Heavy Industry.

With sound understanding of project management and civil construction methodologies, you will have great time management, knowledge of resourcing and cost management, a high attention to detail and excellent knowledge in software such as MS Project and Primavera.
