AV Systems Supervisor
FULL-TIME - CROWN MELBOURNE
Reporting to the AV Systems Manager, this role is responsible for supporting all new and repurposed AV installation/projects across Crown Melbourne, while also supervising, training, design, integration, and upgrades across all aspects of the complex wide AV systems, while being a contact point for gaming requirements.
This position is responsible for undertaking some technical duties, while assisting and supporting the AV Systems Manager with the effective management of staff, contractor management, business unit's communication, project budget management, milestone management, assets logging, documentation, system diagrams, development of policy and procedures, and project handovers to operations.
Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with scheduling, directing and managing AV project initiatives to meet company goals
- Liaise with contractors and key stakeholders including complex wide notifications when required
- Report and maintain status updates to the relevant managers and team members
- Obtain and present quotes/costings for funding. Assist with maintaining budget overviews
- Help develop and maintain all Technology and Systems documentations
- Help develop and maintain all procedural documents (SOPs) and task outlines on existing and new systems/technologies.
- Help develop and distribute 'How To' or technical documentation for stakeholders as required for new or old installs.
- Provide everyday support with administration, production and logistics requirements to ensure the smooth running of projects and operations including Media Content Scheduling.
- Work with the AV team to seek solutions for issues that may arise in terms of systems or procedures, implementing changes with a longterm view.
The following criteria will be considered when reviewing applicants:
- Technical AV experience highly desirable
- CAD proficiency highly desirable
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems highly desirable
- Strong Knowledge of the Microsoft Office products
- Management experience required
- Proven experience in developing technical SOPs with a high level of attention to detail
- Proven experience with the ability to read and interpret high level technical documents
- Proven experience dealing and building relationships with multiple stakeholders
