We are currently seeking a Senior / Principal Specialist Noise (Acoustic) Consultant to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for working on a variety of transport and environmental projects, utilising your expertise in noise modelling and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct noise modelling using software such as Sound PLAN, Cadna A, or similar tools.
Provide expertise in transport noise and construction noise and vibration assessment.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
Produce high-quality technical reports with strong attention to detail and adherence to QA/QC standards.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently on project tasks.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
Relevant tertiary degree qualifications in engineering or science.
Working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
Demonstrated initiative and capability to work independently.
Australian Citizenship or rights to work in Australia.
Skills and Experience:
Drafting or GIS competency, particularly Auto CAD and Arc GIS.
Experience with Visual Basic, MATLAB, or other high-level programming languages (e.g., Python).
Demonstrated project management experience.
Chartered Engineer and/or RPEQ status, or on the way to obtaining.
