Role Summary:


The Digital Media Planner is responsible for the effective running of Key Accounts, managing team members in all aspects of client service, strategy, implementation, and reporting.

Reporting to the Agency Partners, this role provides diversification across advertiser categories and a great deal of autonomy.


Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of different client organisations are critical elements to delivering success in this role.

The Digital Media Planner is a diligent, highly organised, and experienced individual that can think independently, juggle tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver superior client service.


You Will:


  • Deliver regular presentations for media landscape reviews, category trends/updates and technology updates, for both the agency and clients.
  • Advise the team on advertising strategies and campaigns to reach clients target markets, create brand awareness and effectively help them achieve their goals.
  • Understand client challenges from an internal perspective. You will use your understanding to share relevant information with the client and help them navigate challenges.
  • Analyse all the consumer touchpoints that they have with our client's brand not just the paid but the whole consumer journey.
  • Coordinate the production of advertising campaigns, within time and budget constraints.
  • Work ethically and transparently to reduce costs, reduce outstanding payments and seek new business opportunities.
  • Have the ultimate responsibility for all necessary paperwork across client campaigns.
  • Ensure that invoices go out on time with proformas checked and that accounts are reconciled.
  • Reconciliation of invoices against the media plan to ensure what the client approved via the MBA is correct and accurate never going over the agreed/approved budget.
  • Seek commercial opportunities that are mutually beneficial for Customedia and the client. Help develop a new business pipeline with senior management.
  • Undertake market research to identify market opportunities for Customedia and key clients.
  • Analyse and predict current and future trends, to help clients stay ahead of their competition.
  • Ensure that all campaign budget forms are completed with all the appropriate documentation.
  • Seek and implement more efficient processes across the business.
  • Help foster a positive business culture.

You Have:


  • Relevant degree or minimum 5 years experience
  • 2+ years of experience within a media agency
  • Capability in multiple media and industry tools including Google Adwords, Google Analytics, DV360, Search Ads 360, Campaign Manager 360 and Facebook Business Manager
  • Good prioritization, time management and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • You are passionate and positive
  • Good attention to detail and a high standard of work
  • Project management skills
The salary for this role starts from $80.000 excluding super, based on experience and qualifications.
