Our Home Loans Assurance team is looking for a Business Assurance & Controls Management Expert to work with the Home Loans Tribe to provide 1st line operational risk management support which covers the end-to-end management of ANZ's home loans products.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

You have experience in operational and/or compliance risk management and/or audit, proactively identifying and assessing risks, devising appropriate mitigants and controls and understand risk management frameworks.

You have experience in understanding the risk impacts of product change initiatives and are able to balance risk decisions with commercial pragmatism in order to protect customers, stakeholders and the community.

You have a desire to embed risk management in everyday activities, partnering with the business in delivering their own risk management accountabilities (e.g. Operational Risk Assessments, key controls, treatments) by uplifting overall risk capability via input, expertise, coaching and guidance.
You have experience with Home Loans Products, including an understanding of the end-to-end value chain (preferred, not required).
You are willing to look at things differently, challenge the status quo, innovate and are comfortable with uncertainty.

You are able to work autonomously and also part of a team, motivating others to deliver outcomes by providing advice, recommendations and thought leadership based on your expertise and experience.

You have exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the business.

You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
