McLean Farms is a family-owned agri-business with a reputation for quality. We are seeking to fill the position of COMPOST OPERATOR at our Organic Nutrients compost facility. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and be a team player.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes:

Valid HR Licence is highly desirable;
Valid Front End Loader competency is highly desirable;
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) desirable;
Current valid drivers' licence and own transport is essential;
Mechanical knowledge and experience, with the ability to troubleshoot breakdowns, would be highly regarded;
Strenuous physical activity is involved, and therefore a robust physical nature is required to successfully fulfil this role;
Be prepared to work cooperatively as part of a team, but be able to work autonomously when required;
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work cooperatively with internal and external contacts;
Willingness to adhere to all health and safety, biosecurity and operational requirements;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Must be reliable, punctual and motivated;
Good attention to detail;
Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to carry out a range of different tasks.

You may be required to work reasonable overtime to meet operational demands. You will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and pre-employment medical.

You may be required to travel and stay overnight at other locations on occasion. You should be flexible, with an ability to manage several tasks and work cooperatively within a small team.

You must not have any birds, pigs or poultry at your place of residence.
