About The Role


The HO Enterprise Risk leads the continuing development and implementation of key elements of PEXA's risk management framework by working proactively and co-operatively with business leaders, managers and risk personnel.

The HO Enterprise Risk drives the continuous improvement and facilitates PEXA's adoption of policy, processes, systems and technology that enable risk awareness, profiling, assessment, monitoring, management and reporting, including incident management and reporting.

The HO Enterprise Risk is a trusted partner and support to business and other risk personnel in their risk management and decision making.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Maintenance including formal review and continuous improvement, publication and communication of PEXA risk framework, policy and guidance materials.
  • Process ownership and leadership of the preparation of management and board risk committee agendas and materials, including Group Risk reporting, and of debriefing and action tracking with stakeholders following committee meetings.
  • Process ownership of key enterprise risk processes including for risk identification, rating, assessment, measurement, treatment and monitoring, and for the management of risk incidents, ensuring such processes are at all times consistent with regulatory requirements and fit for purpose.
  • Custodian of PEXA's GRC platform, including management of relationships with PEXA Technology and the platform vendor.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PEXA's risk management capability and riskconscious decision making by partnering with business leaders, managers and other risk personnel on initiatives to uplift risk awareness and risk management participation.

Skills and Experience:


  • Enterprise risk leadership experience with responsibility for risk frameworks, policy, methodology and process and for business partnering.
  • Experience managing operational and compliance risk in the sectors of financial services, fintech, professional services or closely related sectors.
  • Advanced commercial acumen and business problem solving skills.
  • Advanced ability to manage and deliver a program of regular enterprise risk management activity while leading or contributing to risk and business initiatives, including by appropriately engaging and managing the contribution of direct reports.
  • Advanced ability to proactively engage, communicate and work effectively with business leaders, managers and the broader risk community on business and risk management goals.
  • Welldeveloped written communication and presentation skills as demonstrated by experience in successfully preparing and presenting risk research, analysis and insight at executive and board level.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other standard business systems.
  • Working with remote and distributed teams.
