This role will enable you to work for a sought after, high quality commercial builder that has a variety of commercial construction projects to sink your teeth into.

This role presents a long-term career opportunity within South Australia. Working centrally from modern offices with a talented team in the Adelaide CBD.

YOUR NEXT COMPANY:

Our client is a large national commercial building company that have a wide spectrum of quality projects to their name.

They are known for their work particularly within Education, Government, Health, High Rise Residential and Commercia areas.

They have decades of experience and a large portfolio of sizeable commercial builds.

YOUR NEXT ROLE:

They are looking to hire a Design Manager who will oversee the quality of their designs ensuring customer satisfaction and liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Below are some of the tasks you will complete as part of the role:

You will oversee and approve development + building approvals.
Oversee the design process.
Coordinate and engage with consultants, estimators, clients, government agencies and more.
Conduct project evaluations and feasibility studies.
Manage client expectations.
Prepare scopes of works.
Oversee some of the earlystage design concepts.
Ad hoc tasks.

ARE YOU A FIT?

To be considered successful, you will have a Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management with numerous years of post-degree design experience, a good understanding and experience with design and construct projects of $20mill or more.

You will have great communication skills; experience working on Australian construction projects and the proven ability to lead and guide others effectively.
