About the role:

The APS 5 Procurement Officer (Labour Hire) is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility.

The position will provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.

The position is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex research, analysis and advice work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position as it provides procurement advice.

Duties:

Provide level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information.
Assist with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs.
Prepare a range of procurement related documentation.
Enter, extract and manipulate data to enable accurate business reporting.
Provide procurement advice and support to the broader business.
Contribute to team and branch planning activities including identifying opportunities for improvements.

Required experience/skills:

Previous Procurement experience, preferably in a Government Agency or Department.

Desirable experience/skills:

Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR's).
SAP experience.
