Your new role
Centurion Transport's Dock department is currently seeking an experienced forklift operator to join full-time as a Freight Officer.

This is a opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking for a permanent, full-time position where they can contribute to the smooth running of our Dock operations and make a real impact on our business.

You will be responsible for loading, unloading and restraining cold fridge/freezer freight. You will be an essential part of our team, working in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Operating an electric forklift to load and unload cold fridge/freezer freight from in a safe and timely manner
Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions
Guaranteeing freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times
Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch

Requirements of the role

Current Forklift Licence (LF)
Preferred experience with cold freight or working in a dock
Ability to take direction from management and supervisors
Preferred scanning experience
Ability to work autonomously and in a team
Customer service and communication skills
Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and RIPPA values
