About the Mental Health Division
The Mental Health Division (MHD) is committed
- to providing the highest levels of inpatient, residential, community in a specialised environments for our patients. In realising their goals the department will lead and excel in research, teaching and the use of person-centred evidence-based practice. The MHD provides services on all three campuses of Austin Health, from the Emergency Department through to bed-based services and ongoing ambulatory care.


About the role:


As an Administrative Support Officer at Austin Health, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals, who are passionate, friendly and supportive team who genuinely enjoy their work and the contribution they make.


About you:

You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You'll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.


To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/Key responsibilities as outlined in the Position Description.

  • The EASO provides a high level of support to the Director of Training. Including office Management
  • Work collaboratively with the broader Mental Health staff and team
  • Supporting the oversight of Psychiatric Training within the Victorian Northern Training Region, including Austin Health, Eastern Health, St. Vincents Hospital, Bendigo Health, Forensicare, and The Melbourne Clinic.
  • Maintaining databases
  • Working Autonomously
  • Professional, innovative approach while being able to manage competing demand
  • Representing and bringing to life the Austin Health values
