About the role
Exclusive opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our production team. You will be working Monday to Friday 530am - 2pm with regular overtime.

Your role is responsible for providing effective support in the maintenance and repair of the production line, ensuring the achievement of factory production targets.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, the Mechanical Fitter will form part of the maintenance team and will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance on all mechanical machinery within the factory.
  • Ensuring all relevant procedures & safe work method statements are filled out before maintenance tasks commence.
  • Experience with any of the following would be highly advantageous: welding (MIG, TIG), Lathe, or fabrication and working with hand tools.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of the factory.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and take steps to identify hazards and report incidents
  • Occasional travel to our site in Villawood may be required.

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker Trade Certificate or higher.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A handson attitude, problemsolving skills, with the ability to work both autonomously & as part of a supportive team.
