Are you looking for a fun and interactive job? Do you have a love for health and fitness? We are now looking for a casual customer service guru for two of our Western Sydney University Health and Fitness Centres - Kingswood and Hawkesbury Campus Our customer service officers (CSO) are passionate about creating awesome experiences for our members and building strong relationships within the university and the community.


About the role:

As a CSO you will be responsible for the acquisition of new Health and Fitness memberships for the Centres.

With a strong focus on customer experience, you will have experience in achieving sales targets, and creating positive member experiences.

The role will give you the opportunity to build strong customer experiences and lasting relationships with our members and guests.


As often the only staff member on site, the CSO needs to have the ability to work autonomously, whilst being proactive in the role.


Key accountabilities in the role include:

  • Achieving daily sales targets
  • Undertaking tours of the facility for perspective members
  • Ensure all enquiries and bookings are managed accurately
  • Process membership and data entry
  • Ensuring patron safety is priority by providing a safe and clean facility
With the sites being 24/7 access for members, there are set staffed hours for CSO's.

This includes a flexible roster across 6 days between the hours of 8am-11am Monday to Friday, 2pm-7pm Monday to Thursday with potential Saturdays 9am-12pm.


About you:

You are self-motivated and have a passion for customer satisfaction. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem solving. Your superior customer service and admin skills along with your ability to build rapport with people will see you excel in this role


You will also come with the following:

  • Current CPR certificate
  • Previous experience in administration/customer service role
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Fitness (desirable)
  • Experience and/or understanding of the Fitness Industry (desirable)
  • Previous work, interest or studies in fitness or recreation (desirable)

Recreation
Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others.

From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces - providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
