The Planning Manager is to plan and schedule project planning activities required to complete the Parkville Arden Project.

The role will involve development and maintenance of the master program and various sub programs to detail progress against planned activities, earned value measurement and time performance.

The Planning Manager is responsible for the development and management of detailed and summary programs for various work Packages, for the monitoring and reporting of progress and program status and for the provision of strategic program advice and support to Project Teams and Leadership Teams within the Parkville Arden Project and VHBA.

The Planning Manager will work with external stakeholders to obtain and collate information to feed into the master program, obtain, review and monitor contractor programs whilst also working with external program consultants to ensure independent accuracy, logic and identify risks with mitigation strategies.

Working with the Project Team, the Planning Manager ensures completeness, accuracy and clarity of programs, the identification of critical works and interfaces with other Packages and Projects, and the effective communication of program status including any delays and issues arising along with mitigation strategies.

2) Someone with experience providing authoritative and strategic planning management advice?
3) Someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills particularly on the delivery of High Value High Risk and PPP projects?
4) Experienced in the delivery of large complex staged building construction project?
5) Passionate about improving the delivery of public sector capital health projects?
