Construction and Project Technician


Location:
North Melbourne


Salary:
$55,000 - $75,000, plus superannuation commensurate with experience


About the Role


We are seeking a Construction & Project Technician to be responsible for the plans, designs and development of commercial, institutional and recreational developments to assist our client's and site teams to deliver on our projects.


Duties include:

  • Obtaining advice from clients/management to determine type, specifications and equipment of planned buildings and alterations to existing buildings and repairs
  • Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and documents

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, engineering or construction from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of construction and design related experience preferably within the hiring firm's field
  • Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
  • Proficiency in Project, BlueBim, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office suite is required
  • Clean police record,
  • General Construction Induction (White Card)
  • In depth understanding of OH&S regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
