Full Time - 6 months Fixed Term position

  • Derrimut Location
  • 3 days in the Derrimut Office, 2 days working from home

The Company:


Position Summary

Required to maintain accuracy of Accounts Receivable information in accounting system including full reconciliations and following-up with employees, customers and suppliers.

This role is to assist with financial actions as and when required and directed from the finance director and work with other business leads.

- Responsible for Accounts receivable including data entry,
reconciliations, maintenance and accuracy of the accounting
system. Supplier Invoices are entered in to the accounting system
promptly and payments are made by due dates.

  • Interaction with customers and suppliers contacts, as necessary in
a timely, courteous and professional manner.

  • Provide general accounting, accurate analysis, reporting and
administrative assistance to the Finance Manager, and other
Managers in a timely, courteous and professional manner.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the site management team
which could include banking as required by the organisation

  • Receipting, chasing overdue payments and issue customer
statements

  • Loading payment runs to the banks and ensuring payment have
received approval before cut off.

  • Purchase of FX currency and ensure internal account transfers are
completed on time.

  • Vendor and customer account clearing and Aging PO clearance
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Criteria:


  • Minimum of 3 years relevant practical experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Experienced using SAP
  • Ensure all confidentiality and privacy of information is maintained
  • Ability to multitask
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and focus and deliver.
  • Advanced communication skills
  • An ability to work under pressure and organise work priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within the company.
