Supply Chain Manager

Your role would play a critical part in promoting social and environmental responsibility while mitigating risks associated with modern slavery and unethical sourcing.


As a key member of our senior management team, we are seeking a highly motivated individual who has the ability to provide quality leadership, motivation and direction to our supply chain team.


Major Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates global supply chain function through strategy, resource optimization, profitability and Key Performance Indicators
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities relating to the sourcing and procurement of materials.
  • Communicate and negotiate with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Works in conjunction with Global Purchasing teams
  • Lead continuous improvement activities, focusing on cost reduction, risk mitigation and efficiency improvement.
  • Negotiates terms and conditions with Freight/transport companies Globally.
  • Monthly reporting against department KPI's in line with business requirements
  • To ensure up to date knowledge of legislation as it relates to the supply chain process.
  • Works closely with Health and Safety to ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR)

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or related fields highly regarded.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Highly proficient in all levels of the supply chain process
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety and procedural best practices in supply chain management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of large ERP systems
  • Strong leadership, motivational and management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical, planning and negotiation skills
  • Critical thinker and aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting.
