Supply Chain Manager
Digga is Australia's leading manufacturer of Machinery attachments for the Earthmoving & Construction industry.

Your role would play a critical part in promoting social and environmental responsibility while mitigating risks associated with modern slavery and unethical sourcing.
As a key member of our senior management team, we are seeking a highly motivated individual who has the ability to provide quality leadership, motivation and direction to our supply chain team.
Major Responsibilities
- Directs and coordinates global supply chain function through strategy, resource optimization, profitability and Key Performance Indicators
- Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities relating to the sourcing and procurement of materials.
- Communicate and negotiate with key suppliers and vendors.
- Works in conjunction with Global Purchasing teams
- Lead continuous improvement activities, focusing on cost reduction, risk mitigation and efficiency improvement.
- Negotiates terms and conditions with Freight/transport companies Globally.
- Monthly reporting against department KPI's in line with business requirements
- To ensure up to date knowledge of legislation as it relates to the supply chain process.
- Works closely with Health and Safety to ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR)
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or related fields highly regarded.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
- Highly proficient in all levels of the supply chain process
- Thorough understanding of health and safety and procedural best practices in supply chain management
- Comprehensive knowledge of large ERP systems
- Strong leadership, motivational and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong analytical, planning and negotiation skills
- Critical thinker and aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting.
