Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Business Rewards remain at the core of the program, while the business has evolved to include a number of new ventures and other businesses such as Qantas Money, Qantas Insurance, Qantas Hotels & Holidays and Qantas Wine.


As the Manager, Marketing - Financial Services you will be responsible for the end to end strategy, management and execution of marketing activity within the Financial Services business unit.

This role is strategically and directly responsible for campaigns that contribute revenue and growth to the business and requires a high-level understanding of the business goals for Qantas Loyalty, the Qantas Group and the Financial Services commercial program partners.


Playing a lead role and working closely with the Financial Services Commercial teams and a number of key strategic external partners, this position will also lead the development and implementation of annual partner and program marketing plans and strategic partner prioritisation ensuring ongoing revenue and share of wallet to Qantas Loyalty and effective partner relationship management.

This role manages a team of highly skilled, professional marketers and requires effective budget management, a sound understanding of data and insights, good technical product knowledge and the ability to successfully manage competing priorities and stakeholder needs.


You'll have:

  • 7 years' + demonstrated direct/digital marketing experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in a marketing or business related field
  • Sound understanding and background within Financial Services industry preferred
  • Extensive experience in dealing with senior management in marketing and business roles
  • Ability to build strong relationships, influence positive outcomes and negotiate with external partners
  • Proven ability to lead and develop talented teams
  • A proven ability to identify and execute marketing opportunities
  • Strategic thinker with strong understanding of campaign reporting and analysis, and ROI measurement techniques, to identify opportunities for future activity
  • Extensive experience in managing marketing campaigns, end to end, preferably within digital channels with a data driven context
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Excellent budget management skills
  • Experience dealing with media and advertising agencies and marketing service providers
  • Previous experience working with digital product teams and good technical understanding of digital products (web and app) preferred
  • Ability to manage and prioritise diverse business objectives
