Overview:

Our engineering consulting client is seeking a Civil Supervisor and a Civil Superintendent (Earthworks) to be working on their end client's iron ore project.

Initial contract is 12 months and the FIFO roster is 2x1.

Details of the role as follows:

Responsibilities:

Manage the team to complete the works in accordance with work plans.
Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules
Develop & promote good communication between all personnel.
Plan, organise & direct materials handling & housekeeping in a safe & costefficient manner ensuring productivity.
Team development, mentoring & management as required.
Leading improvements in efficiency & productivity

Requirements:

Previous experience working on Rio Tinto mine sites (preferrable)
Previous experience working with a EPCM (essential)
Current C class driver's license
Section 44 certificate
Extensive experience in a similar role
Experience managing earthworks packages
Strong occupational health & safety knowledge including a proactive focus on safety.
Ability to maintain positive client relationships.
