The Role:


Your Impact:

As a pivotal part of our IT team, you will:

• Oversee and manage the daily IT operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all IT systems and infrastructure for a team of 120 staff.
• Lead the helpdesk to ensure efficient response.
• Implement and maintain security frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, and DISP, ensuring compliance with defence industry standards.
• Ensure the secure handling and protection of classified information in accordance with defencerelated IT requirements.
• Provide technical support and resolve IT issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
• Oversee network and system administration, ensuring reliable and secure IT infrastructure.
• Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Manage IT projects, from planning and implementation to monitoring and completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, conducting regular audits and assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, driving continuous improvement and innovation in IT practices.

Who You Are:

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT management, particularly within defencerelated environments.
• Thorough understanding of security frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, and DISP.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+; specialized certifications like CISA or NSTISSI 4011 are advantageous.
• Strong technical skills in network and system administration, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities, with the capability to resolve issues quickly.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaborating with internal teams and ensuring clear documentation.
