The role


As leader of this team you will be responsible for:

Ensuring all services are managed aligning with legislative and policy requirements, the Enterprise Agreement, existing governance frameworks and the University's values.


Lead and manage initiatives that leverage technology to streamline processes, procedures and policies across the functional areas of the portfolio to enhance the employee experience.

Oversee the University's Payroll function ensuring compliance with our Enterprise Agreement and legislative obligations.

About you


You will be able to demonstrate:
Proven success in leading a high-performance team where innovation, continuous improvement, complex problem-solving, and employee focus are critical.


Extensive expertise and experience in providing strategic advice on industrial and employment relations issues, including the interpretation and adaption to relevant legislation and enterprise agreements.

Demonstrated experience in driving operational excellence at the enterprise level of a large organisation.

Demonstrated experience in enterprise agreement negotiations in a leadership role of a large organisation.


You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.
