The Infrastructure and Network Manager oversees and manages the Institute's technology infrastructure and network operations. This includes implementing, maintaining, and supporting the company's hardware, software, and network systems.


As our Head of Infrastructure and Network your purpose will be to:

  • Lead the Infrastructure & Network team and inspire them to be passionate, creative and innovative in their service delivery and information security approach and be the cultural change agents striving for excellence.
  • Establish efficient and effective technology systems for the Institute.
  • Efficiently integrate technology into the Institute's operations and matures automated systems for performance management.
  • Be the key relationship holder with suppliers to ensure outsourced services are maintained per defined service level agreements and implemented as expected.

To succeed you will have

  • You will have a strong technical background in network administration, infrastructure design and management, and excellent leadership and problemsolving skills
  • An understanding of technical architecture, technical tools and IT standards used to deliver IT projects and a working knowledge of what constitutes "good practice" over the entire ICT deliverable.
  • Considerable experience in planning, specification, procurement, and hardware and software implementation.
  • Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IP, LAN/WAN with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining highperformance networks at the institute.
  • Experience in architecture, design, and implementation of largescale IT solutions with a focus on costeffectiveness, scalability, and reliability.
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V and a strong understanding of virtualization technologies to manage and support the virtual infrastructure.
  • Experience in Microsoft O365, MS Exchange, Azure, and SharePoint with a focus on maximizing the use of these platforms and ensuring their reliability and security.
