Description

You will be working for the Debtor Finance division of a publicly listed Finance company that has offices all over Australia and is growing rapidly.

This role is based in their North Sydney office, close to public transport links.


You will be responsible for protecting company exposure by processing day-to-day purchase of receivables and ensuring accurate data entry of debtor receipts whilst providing excellent customer service through professional service, speedy and accurate response to queries.

You will also work with the administration and outsource teams for accurate allocation of customer payments.


The role:


  • Assist in managing a portfolio of clients and reporting on them
  • Accountable for efficient and timely uploading & reworking of client invoices
  • Work closely with administration and outsource teams for prompt and accurate allocation of client payments in suspense on client ledgers and buy backs
  • Accountable for identifying potential bad debts and reporting on matters that may be of a fraudulent nature and/or a high risk to management
  • Responsible for alleviating company write offs
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers through support of internal processes to ensure efficiencies in the management of clients
  • Provide assistance with management reporting where required
  • Management of all bulk accounts across all CRM portfolios
  • Anything else as directed by management

To be successful in this role, you must have the following essential criteria:
  • Previous experience gained in the financial services industry
  • An understanding of commercial lending practices is an advantage
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office products
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Data reporting experience
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills
  • First class verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening and retention skills
  • A high attention to detail
  • A team player with initiative and selfmotivation
