About the role:


We have permanent full-time Hospital Dispensary Technician position available to join our Slade Pharmacy team based at the front entrance to the Epworth Private Hospital in Richmond.

The hospital dispensary team work in a rotating roster so you will need to be available to work between 7am and 10pm depending on the shift.

There is no weekend work so you will get to enjoy your weekends

Key responsibilities:


  • Dispense medications under supervision for hospital inpatients and outpatients
  • Prepare patient medication profiles on discharge
  • Assist patients and clients with general queries, including liaising with hospital staff
  • Replenish stock and assist in maintaining inventory levels both in pharmacy and in the hospital
  • Assist the pharmacy teams with other adhoc pharmaceutical duties

What you'll bring:


  • At least 1 year of dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
  • Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
  • You'll be a great communicator both verbally and in writing
  • You'll have proven time management skills and a key eye for detail
  • Adaptability with the willingness to embrace change and commitment to learning
