About the job:

This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

You will report directly into the Head of Consumer Marketing, Apps and Platforms AUNZ, and lead the overarching crossproduct strategy.
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two.

At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways.

Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems-from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental.

And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can-changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Australian (AU) crossproduct GTM (Go-ToMarket) strategy for the Google App and Chrome Browser, ensuring complementary plans that deliver to the overarching business goal. Entails defining the target audience, key jobs to be done, success metrics, activity planning, and overarching measurement.
  • Understand the Australian user and the product magic. Drive consumer insights research to best understand our users to inform marketing plans and feed into global product roadmaps.
  • Work with the Google App and Chrome Browser PMMs to oversee campaign planning including media strategies, creative development, and building a robust learning agenda to inform future plans.
  • Own local business reviews and lead collaboration with our global and regional partners, to facilitate two way sharing on learnings and best practices regularly.
  • Manage a large marketing budget.
