CSSD Assistant
Sunshine Coast Hospital Network (SCUPH, Noosa & Nambour) are seeking a positive and enthusiastic CSSD Assistant to join our CSSD team on a Permanent Part-Time basis and casual basis.
About the Role
As a CSSD Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the CSSD team, which will include cleaning, assembling, inspecting, wrapping and sterilising surgical instruments and medical equipment for Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital's clinical departments.
- Working in conjunction with Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where applicable;
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures, and risk management strategies are met at all times; and
- Handle sterilised items in a manner that protects the integrity and function of the product.
About You
To succeed in this role you be a positive individual with a 'can-do' attitude. Your exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment is essential for this position.
You will also bring;
- A high attention to detail and accuracy;
- Be able to commit to 7 day roster and is mainly afternoon evening finishing between 1800, 2330 and 0600 and weekend work.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a highperforming team; and
- A demonstrated good work ethic that includes punctuality, integrity, respect for others and a commitment to upholding Ramsay's core values.
- Valid open drivers licence
- Ability to lift, load and transport case carts to and from the vehicle

Requirements:

- _Must provide a _National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisations against infectious disease.
