About the Role

Part Time (0.8 FTE) Maximum Term Contract
Classification: Consumer Service Delivery Level 2 with a salary range of $67,322 $72,203 pro rata, per annum + Superannuation
Location: Living and Learning Centre, Strathpine

Overview of the position

Wellbeing Coaches will be part of a multidisciplinary team made up of Mental Health Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and Wellbeing Coaches and Peer Coaches.

The Wellbeing Coach will deliver individual psychosocial support for consumers, in addition to group facilitation of self-development programs.

What you will bring to the role?

A strong understanding of supporting people experiencing emotional distress through their recovery journey
An ability to articulate and promote the value of and strengths gained from lived experiences of recovery
Ability to rolemodel and develop recoveryoriented and traumainformed practices across the service.
Demonstrate integrity, credibility, and ability to foster open communication
Ability to work productively in a fast paced, changing, and dynamic environment

Mandatory role requirements:

National Criminal History Check (Police check) disclosable outcomes considered
Current Working with Children check prior to commencement
