Clerk Grade 11/12 Salary - $139,787 - $161,663 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading:

Your role


Provide strategic advice and manage the overall performance of procurement services to deliver scalable and responsive service outcomes that enable corporate goals to be achieved and which comply with NSW government procurement requirements and standards.


What you'll do


As a Manager, Procurement Systems and Operations in the Procurement Team within Finance and Procurement Services division, you will lead and direct the maintenance and operational wellbeing of procurement's systems.

They also manage the organisation's tender administration and procurement related enquiries to meet business needs.

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Lead and manage procurement systems for all procurement related activity to ensure a high level of professional practice and deliver compliant, effective and efficient procurement outcomes
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and advertise tender documents through internal and external tender publication systems.
  • Encourage innovative practices, achieve delivery of business outcomes and support policy directions to support effective and compliant procurement activities.
  • Manage initial enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, to optimise engagement to achieve defined outcomes and resolve issues timely and efficiently

What we're looking for


You'll have extensive procurement experience, ideally from within a government or regulated service delivery industry that you can draw upon to create and embed a holistic, fit for purpose procurement framework.

The successful applicant will demonstrate;

  • Tertiary qualification relating to procurement or finance and/or relevant knowledge and experience in government procurement.
  • Extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of NSW Government Procurement processes.
  • Experience of leading and managing a procurement function in a multifaceted complex organisation.
