We are currently searching for an experienced
Group Reservations Consultant to join our team in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

As our new Client Concierge - Groups, you will join a friendly and passionate team who take pride in building rapport with clients and ensuring excellent customer service is given when booking group accommodation, and managing all group business from the tentative confirmation stage through to guest check in


Getting to know your role and responsibilities:

  • Building effective business relationships with key clients and travel agents through friendly customer service
  • Produce and distribute rooming lists and confirmations as required and maintain regular communication with the client
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge across Accor Hotels portfolio
  • Manage all group reservations within the Accor Hotels systems (Ivvy and SiHOT) as required
  • Undertake all group reservation tasks such as actioning release backs and loading room lists at an individual property level
  • Nurture business relationships with key clients and travel agents to encourage loyalty

What we need from you:

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

  • Hold a minimum of 2+ years' experience in a Customer Service environment, ideally with experience within accommodation or travel (Preferable, though not essential).
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone manner with the ability to instantly establish a strong rapport with clients verbally.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Have a friendly and professional manner
  • Fast and accurate data entry.
  • Welldeveloped written and verbal skills.
  • Display a passion for problem solving skills and a willing approach to work well under pressure
  • Intermediate; Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills are required
