Responsibilities:

Migration to Microsoft Azure: Lead the migration process from the current business-critical server to Microsoft Azure. This includes planning, executing, and managing the migration to enhance operational efficiency, security, and stability.

Server Administration: Manage various server administration tasks, encompassing setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of servers.

Active Directory Management: Utilize deep knowledge of managing administrative rights and security groups within both Active Directory and Azure environments.

Networking: Possess proficiency in basic networking concepts and collaborate with networking experts to ensure the functionality and reliability of network components.

Firewall Management: Work with firewalls, particularly Fortinet, to maintain a secure IT environment and protect against potential threats.

Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM): Implement and manage Remote Management and Monitoring tools like Ninja or similar solutions. Ensure effective patching and monitoring of systems.

PC Imaging and Configuration: Deploy PC imaging processes and establish customized rules for imaging and configuration, ensuring consistency across devices.

Software Licensing and Compliance: Oversee software licensing, particularly for Microsoft products, to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and optimize software usage.

Proactive IT Support: Provide proactive IT support to resolve issues and prevent disruptions, maintaining system uptime and user satisfaction.

Process Documentation: Develop, document, and promote IT processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure a consistent and standardized approach to IT operations.

Microsoft 365 and Collaboration Tools: Demonstrate proficiency in supporting MS Office 365, MS Teams, OneDrive, Active Directory, and File Servers, fostering efficient collaboration and data management.

Data Backup Management: Set up and manage data backups to safeguard critical information, ensuring data recovery in case of incidents.

Physical Security Solutions: Manage security camera systems and other physical security solutions to enhance the safety of the company's premises.

Wireless Access Points: Troubleshoot and oversee wireless access points and connectivity within warehouse environments, ensuring reliable wireless connectivity.

Vendor and 3rd Party Management: Handle relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, ensuring they deliver services as agreed upon and maintaining accountability.

Purchasing Strategies: Leverage purchasing strategies to establish technology standards across the organization, driving cost-effective and efficient technology solutions.
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience working in an IT environment as an individual contributor supporting IT hardware and software systems.
- Strong understanding of security groups, and Active Directory/Azure administration.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts, firewalls (especially Fortinet), and wireless access points.
- Proficiency in PC imaging, software licensing, and backup solutions.
- Previous involvement in vendor management and the ability to optimize vendor relationships.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and proactive IT support capabilities.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
