About the Role
The Digital and Information Services delivers agile and transformative information and technology, enabling council to be a leader in providing innovative and sustainable services to its communities


The Service Analytics Officer provides high level technical support for Councils IT environment, managing problem lifecycle from beginning to resolution, implementing preventative measures and both interim and permanent solutions to issues impacting the business, and ensuring support processes are followed.


  • Providing regular review of active Problem records and investigation of any Problem records highlighted as requiring further attention
  • Producing statistical records to demonstrate use of Power Bi dashboards
  • Undertaking analysis of incidents as part of a proactive approach looking at continuous improvements and trending. Research of technology bulletins, vendor updates and releases
This position has recently relocated to Sunshine Coast City Hall, based in the heart of Maroochydore CBD. This state of the art and sustainable building is designed to achieve an innovative and collaborative workspace.


About you


As a requirement of this role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree or other relevant qualification and/or experience in Information Technology Services.

As a Service Analytics Officer you will have strong investigative, analytical and research skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve problems and initiate solutions, look for proactive and continuous improvements.

You will have demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management particularly in relation to Problem Management You will be able to focus on underlying issues in organisation wide IT Operations and Services and demonstrated experience in process mapping and process analysis looking for improvements
