Reed Mining Services was established in 2005 by a small group of industry professionals with backgrounds in mining and engineering. From very humble beginnings with just two employees to a series of employees with skills in project management, mechanical engineering, mechanical trades, electrical trades, and fabrication trades etc.

We are looking for a person looking to grow into a trade career within the fitting & machining Trade


Skills and experience
Aprrentice Fitter/Machinist - Duties include but are not limited to working on the below under direct supervision:

• Turning using small and medium sized manual lathes
• Milling using small and medium sized manual miller
• Use radial arm drilling machine
• Horizontal/vertical boring
• Fitting, both onsite and off
• Forklift license (preferred)
• Must be a team player
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Driver's license and own transport
