Location:
Dandenong South

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 3:30 pm (ongoing role)

Pay Rate:
$46.86 per hour + RDO once a fortnight

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to read and understand drawings
Support tradespeople, contractors, and operators with general laboring assistance, operating hand and power tools, and cleaning and preparing the worksite.
Ensure the worksite and associated equipment are clean, safe, tidy, and ready for use.
Undertake and complete assigned tasks with mínimal supervision and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Colour match and mix paints to match paint shades, and select premixed paint.
Remove masking papers, and wax and polish finished paintwork.
Treat vehicles with rustproofing chemicals.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years prior experience as an Automotive Trades Assistant
Experience working with Trucks, Buses, and cars is essential
Experience in Automotive production line work will be highly regarded
Current driver's license and reliable transport are a must
Must be punctual, reliable, and available for work Monday to Friday
Good written and verbal communication skills
A great attitude towards work and helping others
