Full time, ongoing position (part time considered):
Salary based on experience, range: $122,401 - $155,782 (pro rata) plus super:
Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic manager to lead our health, safety, and wellbeing function. This position will help further develop and strengthen our safety and wellbeing culture at VLA.
As the leader, you will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of our Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) framework, strategy, policies, and programs.
Your focus will be on promoting and maintaining a high level of occupational health and safety practice, with a particular emphasis on psychological health and safety.
Additionally, you will manage a small team of experts who will provide guidance, coaching, and support to our People and Workplace Service team, line managers and staff, as well as manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country_
About you:
- Experience in creating and executing innovative health, safety, and wellness programs and structures aimed at fostering physically and psychologically healthy workplace environments.
- Ability to effectively manage relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders (including Boards or Board subcommittees), and successfully resolve conflicts.
- Strong understanding of strategic planning capabilities and to recognize and oversee potential risks.
- Experience in offering datadriven strategic advice leading to make informed decisions.
